This
adventure began late in 2010, after I moved to a new home with a new
wife. We had some friends over, and I happened to mention that now
that I have a little space and a little time (I retired at Christmas),
I'd
like to have a Farmall M.
Not surprisingly, they couldn't help
with that. However, they had a 50+ year-old International 460 on
their acreage they were about to sell. It had quit running about
a year before and
they never managed to get it restarted... Ray had planned to leave it
sitting in
the woods, but I could have it if I'd go get it. So Stumpy (he
used it with a sawmill) came to live with us for a while.
